You have just entered the official site of the governing body in charge of the world power, Nucasia. We dwell in the once abandoned wilderness of the country located immediately to the North, Botavia. (See map on the World History Page) Tensions have arisen in the West, and we now seek your support.

WHERE WE STAND
Nucasia is a relatively young country which won its independence from Botavia close to 30 years ago. I am King Lothgar Von Baron. Originally from the Conwell family, I was a Botavian. At age five, Nucasia united under King Gorhlach and revolted. My father, Jethro fought in the Botavian army and never returned. My mother, originally from the Elven country of Edoreth, moved to Botavia when she got married. 17 years later, Botavia is at war again. I volunteered and enetered the army. Soon, I was forced to go Benedict Arnold on my country. Due to my loyalty, I earned a role in the Nucasian military. Meanwhile, I came to be close with the king who later fell in battle shortly after adopting me. I am now King. With few allies, it seems as though I am taking on the world by myself. Edoreth stands with us against the powerful alliance between Grenhollow and Botavia. |

INAUGERATION DAY
With the death of our beloved King, Gorhlach Von Baron, I, Lothgar, have assumed the throne. As his first acts as King, I have decided to cut off trade with Grenhollow, and increase trade with Edoreth. Gold mining will be significantly increased. More money has been set aside to strengthen the military, and funds are being gathered for a new Fort. Eredrhun shall be the new capital. Our present capital, the Tower of Okapis, is unsatisfactory and unstable. It has undergone too many battles, and it is too difficult to defend.. Eredrhun shall be located East of Twilight Harbor. A lack of democracy has also forced me to take action. I shall form a new government. My goal is to create a peaceful, powerful country governed with justice. Thus, I decree that this country shall be ruled by an organization, headed by yours truly, known as the First-Class Lothgar Alliance Mercenary Elites! From now on, we shall be FLAME! Take pride in your new government. I sincerey believe that we, and we alone, have the power to bring about peace to the planet or to bring about its end. Whatever conclusion our journey shall reach, we shall reach it together.
